Development of emotion processing in the brain

This project, led by Dr Dawn Watling, examines the development of emotional understanding in the brain. Children aged five to twelve years old visit the Social Development lab and while being shown happy, sad and neutral images their brain activity is monitored. Initial work on this project was funded by The British Academy.
